CONCEPTION OF THE PROJECT “INKPOT’S MANTRAS”We all dream to leave memories of ourselves in this world. For everybody this process comes true in different ways: somebody «watches» unpretentiously, another one remains bright trace. Eventually we just cannot leave this world without memories about us. We are beloved, despised objects of envy, pride, sorrow and hope. Nights of love percolate through touches and kisses into something, what doesn’t vanish with the body, but will be reborning many times with the memory and sole. Touch, trace, eternal trace…Inspiration by each other. Our project is named “Inkpot’s mantras”. It is a book of love poetry, illustrated by body-art on the body of the professional poetess and photo-model.
Artist(in all meanings of this word) very often looses his love and creates being under affection of his suffering. As a result – something new, possibly essential on the planet Earth, but what could be created only through the definite person within concrete emotional experience. Topic: God – Artist – Loneliness, the fact of impossibility not to loose and not to create, topic is separate and not simple. It is concentrated in the name of the book “Inkpot’s mantras” - the mantras of Creator’s individual tool. The book is composed of the best love (erotic, spiritual) lyric by famous Russian poetess Eva-Anastasia Kedrovskaya and her several poetic texts, dedicated to different poets and to complicated state of poet’s human despondency(by author E-A Kedrovskaya). Created texts, emotions, spilled out into the words, come back on the body of their creator by the drawings. Infused by Eva’s texts artists create associative body-graphics. “Illustrations” are imprinted on the photographic film. The circle is closed. But, possibly, the book will inspire somebody else… The project is planned to be realized as a book, exhibition and performance with poetry reciting. |
